vCash: 480 | Coleman accepts FA charge Fulham boss Chris Coleman is waiting for his punishment from the Football Association after admitting a charge of using abusive language towards an official. Coleman was upset after Tottenhams late equaliser at Craven Cottage on January 20, when Pascal Chimbonda appeared to be in an offside position. "Fulham manager Chris Coleman has admitted a charge of abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official," confirmed a statement from the FA. "He has not requested a personal hearing." Chimbonda received the ball after Fulham defender Franck Queudrue had flicked the ball but Coleman needed replays to show the last touch did not come from a Spurs player. The Welshman later conceded the decision was correct but suggested it was made by chance rather than good judgement. |
