vCash: 500 | Before i read you post i was going to say exaclty the same man! But guessed you summed it up pretty well! Another contender in my opinion would be Alan Pardew. Done well although being ripped off in the transfer market and admitting it (brave)! So i pick Jewell then Pardew. If your going to bring in cup success then maybe McClare due to UEFA cup but they have been unseen in the league this year really. |

vCash: 500 | Well before i read Smeggie option i instantly though of Jewell, so then i had to change it, then Daz comes along and steals my number two option. So i am now struggling to pick another stand out performance. Ferguson has done a really good job after Utd's last season. Mourinho has been tactically brilliant. (If not a little boring) At the moment i think there are three guys left who could be a contender for Manager of the Season. 1) As much as i hate to admit it, Martin Jol, he has done a awesome job guiding Spuds to 5th place in the league. 2) My second choice is Mark Hughes, he like Jol has guided a mid table club into the realms of europe. 3) My third choice is one that may be a little controversal, this man is Glen Roeder, after being appointed in January he has guided Newcastle from lower mid table to 7th currently in the league, he has taken over from the Anti Christ known as Souness and has done a great job with a squad he couldnt do anything about. Obviously i would have put Jewell and Pardew up on my list of Manager of the season list, but i want to sound original. |

vCash: 500 | lol orignal. Mark Huges is a good one and probably one that has really gone un-noticed to be quite frank with you i didnt even think of him. He turned a failing Blackburn team who nearly faced relegation last season into a decent team supose that it good. Jol has had all the money in the world really and has got most of the players he wanted and not a on shoe string budget like WH and Wigan. |

Yes Jol hasnt had the Financal restaints of many of the other clubs, but with the players he has brough have all been good players that are hungry for success. I.e Lennon. Its also one thing to have the money but unless you motivate and get the right tactics you still wont get success. Just look at The Tinkerman at Chelski. | |
