Mascherano cleared to play for Liverpool

Not that we really need him, Javier Mascherano was today given the green light to play for Liverpool, and is set to be on the bench for the Champions League tie against Barca tomorrow.

Rafa the gaffer went to quite a lot of trouble to get him so he must think highly of him.
I hope Mascherano is a success at Anfield, how he could be overlooked for players of the calibur of Nigel Quashie is beyond belief.

I think he's a great player and will hopefully shine at Anfield!

He hardly got a game at West Ham, but he is clearly a great player so it must be down to bad management.
