vCash: 480 | Reina wants new Liverpool contract Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina is ready to pledge his long-term allegiance to the club and sign a new contract in the summer. The former Villarreal shot-stopper has been linked with a move away from Anfield, but insists that he has no desire to leave Merseyside. "I am happy here and want to stay," said Reina. "We will talk about a new deal in the summer." The 24-year-old has settled into the rhythms of English football and feels at home with the Reds. "I have two years left but I want to look beyond that," he said. "My wife and I have just had our first child and she's a Scouser. Maybe next time I'll have a son and he can play for Spain or England!" |
