Gap down to 3 points

Portsmouth have just beaten Man United 2-1 , that coupled with Chelsea's win earlier means the gap at the top is now just 3 points.

Nice to see a real battle for the title for a change , even if it is a two horse race thats better than a one horse race.

Who do you think will take the title?

squeaky bum time as fergie would say at both ends of the table, it should still be man u, even if they lose against chelsea they still have a superior goal differance and i can't see them losing two more games.
well done redknapp and pompey for a fantastic game, poss game of the weekend

Arry always seems to get on over on United , I remember Bournemouth knocking them out of the FA cup donkeys years ago when he was there.

Don't forget both teams still have to face the mighty Hammers

I do want to see Man Utd lose another game and march to Stamford Bridge knowing with both teams having a chance to win the title.

But don't really see that happening, who do Man Utd have to play before Chelsea?

Looking at Wigans remaining fixtures , I think they will lose them all except perhaps against West Ham , but even if they beat us I don't think it will be enough to keep them up .

I don't see West Ham or Wigan getting more than 37 points , Sheff Utd and Charlton will both exceed 40

After today I'm not so sure maybe Charlton's luck just ran out , Fulham only need to win one match to stay up I think .

Maybe thats why they sacked Coleman when they did , on the face of it a strange decision , but when a new manager comes in clubs tend to get a brief boost.

Fulhams remaining fixtures

Blackburn (H), Arsenal (A), Liverpool (H) , Middlesbrough (A)

I think they will beat Blackburn on saturday but looking at those games if they don't then they are in big trouble.

i think that fulham will go down especially after the way blackburn played in the second half, i don't think a new manager will get them out of their slump in form, in fact hte only way they can stay up is the bottom four lose the last three games and with sheff utd doing west ham at the weekend and charlton only narrowly losing fulham look dead and buried

man u should thank themselves that you never get a penalty at old trafford, while they probably would have still won the game it would have been interesting, especially after sheff utd beat arsenal away
