What an amazing game football is, Saturday sees Portsmouth beat top of the table Manchester United while Watford get a hiding from mid table Middlesbrough. Two days later and bottom of the table Watford get a big win over Portsmouth. Just when it looked like the Hornets are dead and buried they give themselves a faint hope of Premiership survival and a massive boost in confidence ahead of their FA Cup semi final clash with Man United.

With United’s suspect form at the moment, and Fergie’s tendency to play the reserves in the cups, you have to think Watford will fancy their chances of creating a shock. With Man U having a difficult Champions League tie with Roma to navigate in midweek, they could go into the game low in confidence.

A win in this match would be a huge boost to the struggling Watford team and may be the catalyst that gives them the belief to push on and make a real push for survival in the Premier League.

I hope one of Watford or Blackburn make the final as finals between 2 of the big 4 tend to be a bore fest , I think Everton were the last team from outside the big 4 to win the cup in about 95 so it's about time someone else had a chance.

Can't see Watford upsetting United to be honest but I think Blackburn have a real chance of turning Chelsea over.
