Worst Player in Premiership 2005 - 06??

No poll as there may be too many to name but who would be the worst performing player from last season?

Personally I find it tough to nail it down to one.

Crouch for me, but Cisse and Boumsong are close too.

although it did take crouch a while to find the net for liverpool,
i didnt think he had to bad a season.
my vote for worst play must be cygan of arsenel.

Boumsong by a mile. I can't remember how many goals he was responsible for. I thought Rio Ferdinand was laid back but this guy takes the cake.

£8 MILLION - The price tag didn't match the performances.

If so Mo Camara for Celtic, if not then Boumsong for £8M is biggest waste of money that Souness has ever made - and there have been a few.

Fletcher is a liabilty too, Ferguson must have been having a silly turn to play him in so many games.

Remember Keane even slating a bunch of Man U players with Fletcher being the main one?

have always wondered myself what Ferguson sees in Fletcher, then i saw his display against Bulgaria and i thought he was outstanding. He's still young but he's definitly a talent

He is a runner, nothing more nothing less. He does not have what it takes to cut it at the top level. That being said he may be able to do a job for Celtic, which says a lot for the SPL.

So you agree he's not the worst in the Premiership.

Boumsong is still the worst. Don't think I'll change my mind on that one.

fletcher is a good young player,but i feel there is too much pressure on him at man utd,especially now that they are not the team to beat, whoever thinks hes a bad player really dont have a clue and should take up commentry for england! hes not the finished article yet,and he wont ever be the main man for a team of that stature,though could do well with a great player beside him,ie keane,gerrard etc!

He is a brainless fecker.

He played beside Keane last season and Keane thought he was pish. If he wasn't Scottish then you would not rate him. Stop holding out hopes for someone who you think many rescue Scotland - it won't be Fletcher.

There are others to pin your hopes to.

McFadden
Maloney
Burke
Riordan
Brown
Thompson

All the above are better players than Fletcher.
