Fifa Look to Cut league to 18 teams

It seems as though Sepp Blatter wants to cut the Premiership to 18 teams to ease congestion by season 2007/08.

With all the rejections that were made when the Old Firm wanted to join the Premiership I can see a lot of angry managers, especially in the Champoinship.

Sepp Blatter is an interfering idiot.

The power of FIFA went to his head long ago. Time he retired.

Can anyone tell me of a positive contribution he has made to Football.

He courts controversy and loves to be in the media spotlight. So from now on I will be ignoring whatever he says. I suggest the english, french, spanish and italian leagues do the same.

This is probably about FIFA wanting to generate more income from more games. Leave the leagues alone Sepp.
