I'm not sure about you but i hate Fat Frank Lampard and I think he is one of the most over rated players in the premiership. Before all you chelsea fans reply with 'oh but look at how many goals he scores', well im sorry but if i had that many shots at goal id be scoring that many goals too.

Yes, just because you don't support Chelsea you think he's ****. Everyone that doesnt have a link to Chelsea hate him. But he is still a special player that has bewcome a legend at Stamford Bridge.

As a saints fan i have to say that i think he is one of the best players i have seen in years, although maybe not for england!

Dont know what everybody likes at him. yes i am not a chelsea fan but that doesnt mean i am not a lampard fan but i dont like the way he plays. dont know why i dont like it.

And that he was the second best player in the world means nothing this title gets the player who gets the most advertence from the media or the player who sell most t-shirts.

Lampard is a very good player , for some reason he has been made the scapegoat for Englands recent poor performances.

he is a good player but in some games he can't seem to transfer his domestic form onto the international stage and if you want to be the best you have to do this, this is also true of a no of other players in the england first teamas well though so he's not alone in that respect. The only problem i have with him is that he doesn't seem to have any ties to a club he just seems to be out for as much money as he can get which is why i think he could end up in spain or italy in the not to distant future.

in the first season with mourinho, he was an awesome playmaker, one of the best in europe, but he has gone down hill since. he is still a talented playa but he has had a lot of criticism over the past few months which has affected him on pitch.

lampard is not fat.. when he played for west ham he was fat but he still scored over 15 goals a season for us.. now that tells me he is class even though i hate his guts... he can stick his blue flag up his a.. but he is still quality..

as a fan you want your teams players to give 100% thats what helped manu in the ninety's not only were they producing good youth players like the nevilles, giggs, becks scholes etc they all wanted to play for man u and make manu the best in the league and europe and they succeeded pretty dam well, with chelsea they all seem to be there because they can earn the most money so essentially they are mercenries and they are always the first to go when it starts to go wrong, the exception being john terry as he is chelsea just like gerrard and carragher are liverpool, shearer was newcastle etc. ashley cole is a prime example at arsenal he went to chelsea because arsenal wouldn't break there pay structure to keep him

The funny thing is Lampard for national team has scored the same amount of goals as Gerrard in less appearances
Lampard 54appearances and 12goals, Gerrard 57appearances and 12goals!

see thats what im talking about.Lamps is booed and jeered by home fans which is really disgusting and all he has done is play football. His form may be off at times but honestly everybody has their times where football isnt going their way

yes but lampard is off form more often than steven gerrard, lampard will have scored more goals than gerrard because A he is normally the one going forward leaving gerrard to defend and B lampard has twice the no of shots compared to any other england player so he should have scored more

You will always hear that Lampard has had so many shots and he should do this more or that more and we should get him off. Well I would like to see him taken off and I guarantee that within a few months the fans will be the ones begging McLaren to bring back Franky!
The only reason he gets so many shots is because he has the skill of always getting himself into good positions! And if he underperforms so much why is he yet again 3rd top-goalscorer in the epl! its been like this for atleast 3seasons now where he has been in the top-5 goalscorers where Gerrard has only been once in the last 3seasons

i have never said he is a bad player only that gerrard is a more complete footballer and a think a brave decision has to be made and i think it is one that could see lampard on the bench and coming on to replace gerrad, putting an end to the debate over the two players playing together, because i'd rather have gerrad in my team than lampard
