Wigan have rejected a bid from West Ham for full-back Pascal Chimbonda. The Hammers are believed to have offered about £4m for the Frenchman, who handed in a transfer request on the final day of last season.

This is after repeated intrest from Spurs and after the Wigan chairman who's name escapes me temporarily says that he is willing to leave him playing for the reserves if needs be.

I thought that he moved already after handing in his transfer request.

He is a fantastic player and will be a great addition to any premiership club.

Had a decent season and as King of Kings said Jewell has a great nack of finding decent players for nothing.
