vCash: 500 | Hi Duncan, The airpost is about 20 minutes by Taxi. It should cost you 30 or 40 Hyrevna about £4 or £5 but the Taxi Drivers at the airport will try and rip you off and ask 100 Hyrevna or $20. They like Dollars here. Are you flying over the day of the match? Any plans for a beer or two after the match? Cheers John ![]() |

vCash: 500 | Hello Again Sorry not back to you before. The match will be at the old stadium ad the new is not yet finished. There are a few smaller hotels about that may not be on the internet. One is quite near the stadium and about ten minutes from where I live. Will walk over and get some details for you in the morning. As for beers. This is Ukraine, beers 24 hours a day and just about everywhere. Plenty of bars and microbuses to the centre of town, no problem. Will get telephone number and email details, prices and all I can from the hotel tomorrow and post here or you can mail my home email. bickerstonehall@yahoo.com John. |

vCash: 500 | Hotel In Dnepropetrovsk Hi Everybody. There is a Hotel within ten minutes walk of the football stadium which I visited today and they have plenty of rooms for the night of the 4th October. The telephone number you need is 003 which is the international code 80562396992 or 80567927271 Price inclusive of Breakfast for Single Room with Shower will be about £24.00 per night depending on exchange rates. The name is Hotel South. Two problems in that it does not have email and not always do they have someone working who speaks English. Hope this helps. There are many such hotels and I do not believe any of you will find yourself sleeping on the streets Look forward to seeing you over here and hope to meet up with some of you for a beer or two. Dnipro are a good side as you will see when they visit you for the first leg. Hope they are not under estimated! |

vCash: 500 | Beers Hi John, There's about 11 of us coming across from Aberdeen. We're staying in the Hotel Dnepropetrovsk, near the circus is that right? Will easy meet up for a few beers if you want. Would be good to get the local knowledge off you as well. We arrive Tuesday night around 21:10 so if you want to meet up just reply or send me a mail. Hopefully we'll nae be too despondant after this Thursday's tie, think Dnipro are a hard task though. Cheers Phil |

vCash: 500 | Well what went wrong in Aberdeen? Now at least one goal is needed in Dnepropetrovsk. Not going to be easy Looking forward to meeting up with everyone for a beer. But not looking forward to the game as much as if there were a couple of goals in the bag from the home game ![]() |

vCash: 500 | Good Game. I pleased that Aberdeen go on, but boy were they lucky. Dnipro hit the woodwork three times had most of the game and two penalty claims, one was no chance, but the other was 50/50. Watched the game on TV again when I got home. To be fair the Aberdeen goal was a great goal. Hope you get a good draw in the next round. |
