vCash: 480 | Novo believes Glasgow final is a possibility for Rangers Nacho Novo insists there is no reason why Rangers cannot progress all the way to the UEFA Cup final. The Spanish striker maintained his goal-a-game scoring record in the group stages of the competition to inspire Rangers to a 2-2 draw in Auxerre last night. He cancelled out Ireneusz Jelens opener, before Kris Boyd levelled the scoreline again after Daniel Niculae had restored Auxerres lead. And the point was enough to guarantee Rangers a place in the last 32 of the competition. The UEFA Cup final will be held in Glasgow and Novo, 27, believes it would be fitting if Rangers managed to claim a starring role at the showpiece. "If we play together as a team like we did tonight and if we all work hard for each other for 90 minutes then there is every chance," he said. "The final is at Hampden and it would be great to play in Glasgow in a European final. If we play with the passion we have then I would say: Why not?" |

vCash: 500 | the sons of satan made really heavy work of what should have been a victory against an Auxerre side who are worse domestically than Rangers. Last nights game again highlighted the glaring lack of quality at the back for Rangers, especially at centre half. |

vCash: 500 | Rangers have got players that are more devoted to the Uefa championship. Some of them have good experience and so does the manager. |

vCash: 500 | the only way Novo will see Hampden this season is to take the no 5 bus to Mount Florida, a 5 min walk and then he can look at Hampden all he wants ![]() |

vCash: 500 | come on, i'm giving u credit here. By saying Man U might win the Uefa cup obviously means they won't qualify for the knockout stages of the C/L, ironic when u consider they were favourites to win the game now they might not make it. Your quip has now lost its oomph now i had to explain it. i obviously gave u too much credit for being witty .pity |

vCash: 500 | Benfica may win it if they dont get through and now that they are going for the premiership they are not really concentrating on the champions league, if they were doing as bad as Arsenal or Liverpool they would be concentrating more on Europe than the premiership but now they are doing excellent in the premiership and they are fully commited to win the Premiership and not the champions league (as much) |

vCash: 500 | good experience and so does the manager. Its like pin the tale on the donkey. Can you point out this experience you talk of? If you inherit a good squad then most of the managers job has been done. If you get a bunch of donkeys and buy in a bus load of foreigners who would rather slap and tickle the opposition than tackle and hit shots, not much is going to happen. So to sort this he gets british loan deals on injured players who in all fairness can play but get sent home with the injurys they came with. If the wood is already rotting there is no point trying to patch it up. |

vCash: 500 | Would be nice though to see Rangers in Hampden again. Wont have had that much fun since the 2002 cup final when Lovenkrands could kick his own arse but in fairness so did Bobo Balde (Hence the sore ribs and Lovenkrands turning into a bigger **** bag). |

vCash: 500 | looking at the quality of the teams that've dropped into the Uefa cup and who are far better than any of the teams Rangers have met so far in the cup, the sons of satan have absolutely no chance of reaching the final. Semi's at best. the knockout stages should be really interesting |
