vCash: 379 | QF draw AZ Alkmaar v Werder Bremen Bayer Leverkusen v Osasuna Sevilla v Tottenham Hotspurs Espanyol v Benfica SF draw AZ/ Bremen v Espanyol/ Benfica Leverkusen/ Osasuna v Sevilla / Spurs Tough draw for Spurs against the holders if they can beat Sevilla however they will have the easier semi I think I predict a last 4 of Werder Bremen,Leverkusen,Sevilla & Benfica with a final at Hampden on 16th May between Werder Bremen & Sevilla |

vCash: 379 | Tonights results AZ 0-0 Werder Bremen Bayer Leverkusen 0-3 Osasuna Espanyol 3-2 Benfica Sevilla 2-1 Tottenham Some very interresting games , Werder may be happy with a draw away from home but their failure to get an away goal could count against them , evenly poised I have a sneaking feeling AZ may go through Very suprised by the result in Leverkusen , I thought Osasuna were the weakest team left in the competition but they are all but through. Espanyol were 3-0 up on Benfica at one stage , but the 2 away goals should prove decisive and I expect the Portuguese side to progress. Decent result for Spurs in Seville, they have a vital away goal ,it's going to be very close but I think the holders are going out. |

vCash: 379 | Why so disappointed gH ? , I know it could have been better but 2-1 was a decent result I think , I would make you slight favourites to go through now |

vCash: 379 | I pressume you watched the match , and I didn't so I can't argue , but I did see both games against Braga in the last round and whilst Spurs played some breathtaking football at times they did defend very poorly at times as well. Braga are real minnows in european terms whereas Sevilla are now a top class European outfit who could yet win La Liga but will certainly be playing champions league football next year . So if you can put them out it will be a real achievement , also with Bremen in a bit of trouble I can't see anyone else standing between you and the cup. |

vCash: 379 | 2nd legs today Werder Bremen (0) v (O) AZ Alkmaar Osasuna (3) v (0) Bayer Leverkusen Benfica (2) V (3) Espanyol Tottenham (1) v Sevilla (2) Very interesting games here Osasuna are through but the others are alldifficult to call , Werder were my tip to win the cup but they failed to get an away goal ,AZ are tricky opponents & I think they will come away with a score draw & go through. Benfica have 2 away goals but their defence has been poor of late they should be too good for Espanyol but again I think this will be a score draw and the Spanish will progress. Spurs v Sevilla ,I realy don't know how this one will go but my gut feeling is Spurs will go through. That would make the semis Osasuna v Tottenham Espanyol v AZ anyone else got any ideas? |
